The boots I received were defective. There was a stitching mistake on one tongue and that led to blisters on my ankle unless I wore heavy socks. The seam between the sole and leather upper had a small fault, which after 10 months of light use opened larger and exposed the underside of the boot. Because it was 10 months the seller refused the return. Fortunately Timberland replaced them and the new boots fit fine. I blame the seller for trying to unload defective boots without warning.
